Diwali is the most important festival celebrated by followers of Hinduism. This Festival of Lights has various legends associated with it that involve the Hindu gods Rama, Lakshmi and Krishna which all celebrate the victory of good over the evil and wishes for hope, happiness and peace. Lakshmi is perhaps the most popular god during Diwali as she represents wealth, beauty and prosperity. Lakshmi is also referred to as Gaj Laxmi – Goddess of elephants. Elephants symbolize strength, water and fertility to bring about abundant prosperity. This limited mintage 5g pure gold bar celebrates Diwali with Lakshmi, packaged in a vibrantly coloured CertiPAMP card and envelope accented with lotus flowers.

The obverse features the PAMP Suisse logo, the inscriptions “5 g FINE GOLD 999.9”, the assay mark and a unique serial number, whilst the reverse features Lakshmi sitting on a lotus flower surrounded by multiple lanterns along with the inscriptions “Diwali Festival of Lights”
