You can get a guide price for your items using our scrap calculator. If sending items in the post the price listed on the day we receive the items is the price you will receive not the price on the day you send them.

Yes, we have the equipment to test unhallmarked or broken jewellery and are happy to purchase it from you.

You do not have to remove the stones from your jewellery. If the stones are valuable, we will consider this when making our valuation of your jewellery. If the stones are not valuable an experienced member of our team will deduct weight relative to the weight of the stones. If we require an accurate weight for an item we will remove the stones.  If you wish to keep the stones in your jewellery we suggest you have them removed before sending the goods to us.

If you are unsure of the weight or carat of your items, you can fill out the form and leave that part blank. When we receive the items a member of our team will weigh and test the items to give our quote.

No, there’s no minimum amount required to send your items using our seller packs. However, if you choose to use a pre-paid seller pack, a £9 fee will be deducted from the total value of your items to cover the cost of insured postage.

Each parcel is insured for up to £2,500 and sent using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service, which also provides:

• Track and trace, so you can monitor your parcel’s progress at every step.
• A signature on delivery for added security and confirmation.

If your items are too large for the seller pack provided, here’s what you can do:

• Use your own packaging: Ensure it’s sturdy and secure.
• Attach our pre-paid Royal Mail label: This will cover your postage costs.
• Make sure the package does not exceed 20kg in weight.
• Ensure the dimensions are within Max L 61cm x W 46cm x D 46cm.

As long as the parcel does not exceed 20kg or £2,500 in value, you can put both metals in one pack.

If your items exceed Royal Mail’s £2,500 insurance limit per seller pack, simply order enough packs to cover the total value. Make sure each pack contains no more than £2,500 worth of items to ensure full insurance and protection during transit. Please note that £9 will be deducted from the value of each pack to cover the cost of insured postage.

Each seller pack includes up to £2,500 of Royal Mail insurance. To determine how many packs you need, calculate the total value of your gold or silver and divide it by £2,500. For example, if your gold or silver is worth £6,000, you’ll need three seller packs. Please note that £9 will be deducted from the value of each pack, so for three packs, a total of £27 will be deducted to cover the cost of insured postage.

If you’re unsure or have additional items to sell, it’s a good idea to order an extra pack. This ensures all your gold and silver is fully insured and protected during transit.

As our shop does not receive Royal Mail deliveries on Saturdays, your Seller Pack will be held securely by Royal Mail over the weekend and delivered to us on Monday.
