At Lois Bullion, we offer a range of services around jewellery and precious metals.

Free gold valuation service in-store: Customers can visit our premium Birmingham Jewellery Quarter showroom to have their items valued for sale. Items we value include jewellery, scrap gold, scrap silver, scrap platinum, scrap palladium, coins, gold bars, bullion, rhodium, dental gold, loose diamonds, loose gemstones, diamond jewellery, antique jewellery, platinum wire and more.

Sell gold for cash in-store: At Lois Bullion we offer the highest rates for scrap gold with immediate payment. Customers are able to bring their items into the store where a member of our team will value the items using their vast experience and the newest technology. After a few minutes, a value can be ascertained and a quote will be provided. If you are happy with the quote we will make an immediate payment to your bank account and provide you with a full receipt for selling your items.

Sell gold for cash via the post: For customers that cannot or do not wish to travel to our store, we offer the chance to sell your items to us via the post. This can be done by ordering one of our free post packs. Once you receive your free post pack you need to securely place your items into the packaging provided, fill out the form with your details (so we can identify the items as yours) then take the package to the Post Office to post it to us for free. Please keep your proof of postage receipt as this may be required.

Selling Pre-Owned jewellery: For items that we consider resealable, we will value them as pre-owned jewellery pieces with higher than scrap prices. A member of our expert jewellery team will make assessments based on current market rates for your items.

Melt and assay service: If you have a large number of mixed purity items we offer melt and assay services for both trade and retail customers. Customers can bring in their gold items for melting with our master melter where the items will be melted into a gold bar for us to then determine the gold purity using the latest XRF analysing equipment. We are happy to allow customers to watch the whole process from melting and weighing to seeing the purity readings to ensure 100% transparency and to give customers the most accurate prices.

Trade prices for precious metal buying and selling: For VAT-registered businesses, we can offer a trade account giving higher rates for scrap and precious metals. Trade customers will be required to fill out our KYC (know your customer) package to have a trade account set up. Trade customers can fix their gold price based on a chosen LMBA fix once agreed upon by both parties. Trade customers can also benefit from discounted rates on bullion and jewellery.
