Description
The 2017 Edward of Griffin 2oz silver coin is the second coin minted in the Queen’s beast series. The mythical griffin has the body of a lion, and head and wings of an eagle representing strength and courage. The griffin is strongly associated with King Edward III as he adopted a griffin on his private seal during his reign. The coin is made from fine silver and weighs 2oz (62.2g). This coin is exempt from capital gains tax.
