Supporting Birmingham Hospice

Birmingham-based precious metals specialist Lois Bullion, operating from the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, has announced a partnership and financial donation of over £10,000 to Birmingham Hospice to support its vital care services across the city.

The partnership was celebrated this week during a visit by the Lois Bullion team to the hospice’s facilities, where a charitable donation was presented to help fund the charity’s ongoing fundraising initiatives.

A Partnership Rooted in Birmingham

For Lois Bullion, the decision to back the hospice stems directly from a core company philosophy championing local accountability and the belief that business success should mirror community health.

Steve Doughty, Lois Bullion Customer Relations Manager, commented: “We have been incredibly fortunate to grow our business in the heart of Birmingham. We firmly believe that what you put out into your local community comes back to you. Supporting Birmingham Hospice isn’t about corporate box-ticking; it’s about backing an organisation that provides comfort and dignity to local families when they need it most.”

Alongside direct financial contributions, Lois Bullion is launching a new community initiative through its Jewellery Quarter showroom. The company will invite customers to donate non-precious jewellery and costume items, which Lois Bullion will then sell through its established commercial channels. 100% of the proceeds generated from the sale of these non-gold assets will be donated directly to Birmingham Hospice to support its vital care services and fundraising efforts.

Amy Jackson at Lois Bullion, added: “When people sell their unwanted valuables to us, they look for security and fairness. By partnering with the hospice, we are showing our customers that their transactions help drive real, positive change right across Birmingham.”
