The obverse bears the fifth crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II right, wearing the George IV State Diadem, legend around. Whilst the reverse depicts a detailed close-up of one of the iconic Landseer bronze lions guarding the base of Nelson’s Column, with the National Gallery spanning the background.
