Description
Produced through a partnership between the United States Mint and The Royal Mint, with both chief engravers working to create the design, this coin symbolises the enduring special relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States. This design, featuring Britannia and Liberty reflects the shared values of fortitude and freedom while showcasing the skill of both engravers.
The obverse bears the official coinage effigy of King Charles III, designed by Martin Jennings. Whilst the reverse bears an innovative “playing card” style binary layout. It seamlessly blends Lady Britannia (wearing her traditional Corinthian helmet and holding a trident) with Lady Liberty (adorned with stars in her hair and holding a lit torch).
This coin is struck from 999.9% fine silver and weighs 31.1 grams.
